The provider of the Fellbert app is Patrick Gutsch, Klatschmohnweg 4, 38300 Wolfenbüttel, Germany. These terms apply to the use of the app and its associated services.
Fellbert is a tool for planning and record-keeping. The app makes no diagnoses, gives no treatment recommendations and is not a medical device. Dosage, frequency and duration of a treatment are determined solely by the veterinary practice.
Reminders may fail to arrive, for instance because the operating system suppresses them, the device is off, or battery-saving features intervene. Do not rely on the app alone for life-critical doses.
The core functions work without an account. Synchronisation and sharing require an account with an email address and password. You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for whom you share a pet with.
Synchronisation across several devices is a paid feature. Three durations are offered: monthly, semi-annual and annual. The applicable prices are shown in the app and in the store in your local currency.
The subscription renews automatically for the chosen duration unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before it ends. Purchase, renewal and cancellation are handled by your store provider, you cancel in the settings of your Apple or Google account, not with us.
Regarding a free trial period: it turns into a paid subscription at the end unless you cancel beforehand. Refunds are governed by the terms of the respective store.
If your subscription ends, your data remains on the device and the app stays usable. Only synchronisation is paused.
We are liable without limitation in cases of intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. In cases of simple negligence we are liable only for the breach of material contractual obligations, limited in amount to the typical, foreseeable damage. Otherwise liability is excluded. Liability under the German Product Liability Act remains unaffected.
We endeavour to provide uninterrupted operation but do not owe any particular level of availability. We may develop the app further and change features, provided the essential scope of an ongoing subscription is preserved.
German law applies. If the user is a consumer, mandatory consumer protection provisions of their country of residence remain unaffected.
We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
